Children’s Books

Storytelling for all ages, my art can bring to life any tale waiting to be told. From picture books, to chapter books, graphic novels, and beyond.

The Starlight Guild

Recently, I published my first graphic novel, The Starlight Guild.

“A bombastic, chaotic, and heartfelt story following four internet friends as they struggle to balance adult life and their favorite pastime of jumping into the worlds of their Dungeons and Dragons adventures!”

This is the first installment of a series, with each book focusing on another character in the universe, as it hopes back and forth from the fantasy world to the real world.

Here is one example of a finished spread…
…and another!

Bloom Boom (A Dummybook)

I was inspired by the children’s book Bloom Boom from April Pulley Sayre, and wanted to try illustrating it with my own style in honor of it’s fantastical descriptions of the flowers that arrive with the springtime season.

This piece was made entirely on my own, for the purpose of practice, I am not personally affiliated with April Pulley Sayre or Beach Lane Books.

FIO: The Moonstone of Dreams

This piece is a mock-book jacket spread made for a fictional publishing company for the purpose of practice.

This book is the first in a fantasy series aimed at middle school reading level readers. The story focuses on a fairy princess who sets off to find the mysterious moonstone hidden away in long abandoned forest ruins- as depicted on the front cover.

For visual aid, I have placed bright pink lines over the art to indicate where the jacket folds, front/back cover, and spine are located. The final version, of course, would have these removed.

The Great Office Prank War

This spread is a mock spread idea for a whole children’s book centered around a “Bring-your-kid” to work day gone chaotically wrong- in the best way.

Science Fair Catastrophe

Another two page spread, this time about a young student presenting their booth at the school’s annual science fair. Eager to impress the judges, they put just a little too much baking soda in their volcano.
