Illustration and Visual Development
Recently, I published my first graphic novel, The Starlight Guild.
“A bombastic, chaotic, and heartfelt story following four internet friends as they struggle to balance adult life and their favorite pastime of jumping into the worlds of their Dungeons and Dragons adventures!”
This is the first installment of a series, with each book focusing on another character in the universe, as it hopes back and forth from the fantasy world to the real world.

Magic Lessons is a 3 page, black and white comic which follows a double narrative between a lazy witch and her studious, underestimated apprentice.
This comic is an example of some of my comic-making practice, as well as character design and creative writing.

A Robot’s Heart is a large, 1 page, silent comic about a family of little bots coming together to built a caretaker.
The limited color palette works to draw the eye around this fun, comedic composition, while also hinting at the passage of time and progress of these adamant little robots.
This 6 page, black and white comic is about a young witch girl who comes from a powerful and prestigious magical family. Despite her heritage, however, youngest sister Cameron can’t seem to do any magic and struggles with falling behind her gifted siblings. After their grandmother passes, the family is tasked with passing on her familiar, a phoenix, and Cameron is determined to prove herself.

Baker’s Glee, is a silent, 1 page comic about a young woman baking an apple pie and the steps she takes to make it.
This comic only utilizes 3 colors: red, mint, and pink. By overlapping and erasing carefully however, it creates the illusion of more colors. The reason for this is because this comic was made with a RISO printer in mind.

The Cambion is a 7 page standalone comic about a half-demon woman who’s on a mission to steal an ancient sword that’s being guarded by an angel.
This comic shows off a few of my artistic skills…including my creative writing, use of darker and more violent themes, limited color to enhance composition, interesting and unique character/monster designs, and my understanding of fighting choreography in an otherwise static, comic format.
